OK, I am currently trying to buy a house. I've already tried without using a Realtor, it was very very difficult, so I extremely recommend that anyone trying to buy one does hire a one. I always thought that I had to pay for my own Realtor, and then I found out that the SELLER pays! yay!
To get to my point, I really liked the Realtor we chose. This week we found a great house to buy, put and offer and it was accepted! Well, my Realtor went out of town before we found out it was accepted and he left his wife in charge of everything. It turns out that she is a blah person, someone who rubs people the wrong way. I feel like I might not want to buy this house just because of her. My Realtor is making almost 8k dollars for showing us about 10 homes. It is not cool that he left his wife to be a whore toward me.
Maybe I am over reacting, maybe i am not. Hopefully when he gets back everything will be OK, if not, I think I'm going to fire them!
